I’ve been pretty inspired by this blog post from Natalie about how important sharing the love can be in the world of blogging and I realized it’s been a long long while since when I wrote down my last Reading Material post but I’ve decided I should try and make this a monthly thing because I love reading these posts and because it totally makes my day when I’m featured in one! So here are the posts I’ve loved reading in September…
September is my favourite month of the year and not only because it’s my birthday month, but also because it’s when the weather is still nice but start to be crispy and chillier, not to mention I love when autumn starts to be around. It literally flew by, I can’t believe it’s already monthly favourites time, but I’m pretty excited for October to come around to be honest, and to see the leaves changing their colours, ahh beautiful autumn! But back to my September favourites, I love when the weather changes and you get to wear, try, do and love new things, so here is what I’ve loved this past month…
I haven’t use an electric toothbrush since when I had braces when I was 9, but then my boyfriend gave this Braun Oral-B Vitality White + Clean Rechargeable Toothbrush to me as birthday present and it was eye opening. I can’t believe I have used classic toothbrushes for so long, I find it so strange now to use one and I couldn’t be happier with my new electric friend!
As the weather gets chillier, chapped lips are always around and this is the reason why I’ve been using three different lipbalms at once! The Nuxe Reve De Miel Lipbalm is my all time favourite, I love the soft buttery consistence that glides on super nicely, and I’m in love with the scent which better than honey actually reminds me a piece of lemon and almond cake, delicious! It is my night and home choice, while for the day or handbag I’m loving the Sweet Cecily’s lipbalms in the flavours Pina Colada* and Espresso Martini* – they both smell ahh-mazing, expecially the Espresso Martini which is coffee in a lipbalm form and I love the scent of coffee, one of my favourite thing! These apply super easy even directly from the pot which makes them perfect for on the go, plus they’re very hydrating and bring a huge relief to chapped lips.
I’ve not been so good with eye creams this summer, but I’m trying and getting better as the weather gets colder, and the Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminee Eye Cream is being so good at keeping my eye area hydrated, soft and bright. Also, being that I have been spending two or more days away from home pretty often, a bestfriend of mine and my oily hair has been the Batiste Dry Shampoo in the tiny cute travel bottle that is perfect for my small makeup/beauty bag I always carry with me. My hair starts feeling (but not always looking) greasy on the second day and that’s one of the worst feeling in my opinion, so this is a must-have for rebusting my hair and giving it some healthy volume and banishing oil.
Lastly I’ve been enjoying the & Other Stories Lengthening Mascara on the makeup-front; it was such an impulsive purchase, I didn’t even need a new mascara but it was discounted during Milan’s Vogue Fashion Night Out and all the proceeds went to charity, so there was no excuse! I pretty like it as an everyday option to all my other mascaras which are always waterproof and something I might don’t always want to wear just to go out for an hour or two. It’s very black, very nice and make my eyelashes look longer, which is all I ask!
I’ve recently had a huge wardrobe clear-out (these things don’t happen very often around here, oops!) and this time I was pretty severe on what to keep and what to give away so I’ve been left with a very poor wardrobe especially for the new season. This means I’ve been (and still am) on the hunt for new autumnal and transitional pieces and I might have fallen in love with a few during the process. This ASOS Denim Button Through Smock Dress just looks so lovely and pairs amazing with any other piece in my wardrobe really, plus it makes for a good transitional dress as it’s perfect for warmer days just by itself, but nice to be layered on chillier days with thigts and boots or cute autumnal shoes. I’ve also got this beautiful 3/4-lenght sleeves H&M Sweatshirt for my birthday and I love it! The colours are so pretty and the fabric is super soft, it made for the perfect top for this in-between September weather. Lastly I was looking for a new tan satchel for a while and I think I’ve finally found the one: I have been carrying my ASOS Scallop Stitch Satchel Bag since when I got it this month and it fits all I need for my day trips to Milan as well as any quicker occasion – and it also fits camera + lens which means I can snap even more!
It’s finally tea, chai latte and warm drinks time! I’m excited. In september I’ve been drinking the Clipper Tea Organic Zen Again Infusion which taste and smell very fresh and relaxing with its lemongrass, eucalyptus and ginkgo infusion. It’s the perfect pre-yoga session tea and it seriously warms up my heart a little everytime! Talking of ravishing scents, I must mention the Yankee Candle Vanilla Lime Scented Sachet which is living in my wardrobe lately making it smell sooo nice! Best thing ever for a vanilla lover! Lastly, you realize you’re with the right boy when he gives you a super cute Panda Foldable Bag (similar here) and you probably know I love packable shoppers as well as pandas, so this was just the perfect cutest combo!
Something I love is getting to know something more about the bloggers behind my favourite blogs, and I just realized that even though I often talk about me in my posts, I never really dedicated an entire post to allow you to get to know me a little bit better. So here are some totally random facts you probably don’t know about me!
1. Some of you may have guessed it already but I’m vegetarian.

5. I looove to swim.
6. The only pets I ever had were/are cats.

I’ll be completely honest with you guys, when I was asked to enter the SACO Kitchen Challenge I was way too excited for it and immediately thought it was the right time for uploading something on my YouTube Channel; however the video I was thinking about isn’t similar to this one by any means. It turned out…
I’ve already introduced you to this amazing garden before and if you’ve read me for a while you’ll remember how many times I mentioned I wanted to visit it. This summer wasn’t helpful with its always cloudy and rainy weather, but we somehow managed to find the perfect hot summer day to visit it and…
Since entering a healthier lifestyle I’ve been trying and experimenting new ways to eat clean and healthy without sacrificing the flavours. Sometimes this requires way too much time and most of the time I just want something quick and easy to put together and eat immediately after, so here are two healthy breakfasts idea I’ve…
Being that I spend most of my time sitting at a desk and typing codes and words on a daily basis, it feels pretty weird I’m pretty much the only one who didn’t shared her workspace yet. So here is the thing: as much as I would love to own a Pinterest worthy workspace, I don’t…
This is part two of two of our little experience in the nature we had almost three weeks ago now (read and see Part I). As we went deeper into the trees we found some amazing natural and semi natural little waterfalls as well as an old tiny wooden bridge, lots of trees, leaves and…

As much as I love long hair, huge infinite braids and beautiful long curls, I can’t see long hair on me. I’ve already addressed this topic in the past, but as soon as my hair starts to grow a little bit too much over my shoulders I start feeling the need of chopping it all off,…
A few days ago I got to stay at my boyfriend’s place a few more days and on one rare sunny Sunday afternoon we decided to go for an excursion to admire and walk through the beautiful green spot we had right behind the corner. I can’t deny it was a long painful walk and…
As many of you would probably already know, I am Italian, live and blog from Italy. This may sounds nice and intriguing to some of you, but this also means I’m an international blogger, which has its long list of pros as well as a lot of cons. Being an international blogger it’s a whole…
August was such a nice month to me and I kind of feel like I need to give you a little life update. Something you probably already know is that I started this more controlled and healthier regime, eating cleaner and working out almost everyday which to me is a huge switch from what I…
I was so happy about July and sad about letting it go that I didn’t think it was possible for the new month to be as good, but August was so nice and definitely on top of my list of favourite months this year! Last month I said I was secretly enjoying that summer never…
I’m turing 21 today but I am a little bit sad of leaving my twenty-year-old self behind being that this past year was full of beautiful moments, tough times that evolved in something good, a lot of changes and happy feelings and this is probably the first time I can find positivity in everything that…
