Sand & Sea Salt

As much as I like country living and big cities, and as much as I’d prefer visiting a big capital as a vacation of choice, sometimes the seaside just calls my name so loudly. I didn’t even ever thought I’d enjoyed getting back to a classical relaxing kind of holiday that much. But these past three weeks have flew by, and have been literally all I and my mind needed. A bit of freedom from all the work and thoughts and tasks. I have had quite a tough time at some points, to accept I should have needed to take some time away from my laptop, my emails, my websites, and just enjoy the sea life as it came by, but once accepted it felt so right!
Living by the sea even just for less then a month made me change my lifestyle drastically. I immediately started craving only fresh, juicy fruits and vegetable everytime it was time to eat (excluding all the ice cream, but that one is kind of mandatory on a holiday, isn’t it?), the time we spent walking quadrupled as soon as we arrived there, my hair started looking always so on point (seasalt is just the haircare holy grail), and my skin started looking more alive in less than a week of healthy exposure to the sun (I even discovered freckles, which I wasn’t ever lucky enough to see on myself, appeared on my face and shoulders around the start of the third week!). I kind of felt a completely different person in a different healthier body, and I wish I could feel that way all year round! But it’s not the same when the weather starts getting chilly and the sea is hundres of miles away from you, am I right?!
Anyway we had such a lovely time and we’ve just got back but I already miss all of that, the beach, the sand, the seasalt, all that freedom and lightheartedness. Watch this space for more pictures and a video coming super soon! x
